When folded down your phone can be viewed through a pvc cover and the phone is usable with or without gloves. However, since this chest pack is taller some pilots find it is easier to use by unbuckling the stomach strap in flight. The side attachment points are designed to support the Uinta accessories that we create and carry. Those easily attach, similarly to our Uinta Adventure Pack.
