Hybrid Noise Cancellation System

• 16dB feedback-based Active Noise Canceling tuned for low-frequency environments between 50 and 300 Hz

• 24dB passive attenuation from physical earcup isolation

This combination targets engine, prop, and wind noise while maintaining spatial awareness and clarity.

Voice Activity Detection (VAD)

Integrated Voice Activity Detection isolates speech and suppresses background noise in real time. Only intentional voice is transmitted, even in the presence of wind, engines, or mechanical noise.

Environmental Noise Cancellation

Environmental Noise Cancellation reduces ambient interference without fully isolating you from your surroundings. Critical cues remain audible while unwanted noise is removed from outgoing and incoming audio paths.

Noise Dependent Volume Control

NDVC dynamically adjusts output levels based on surrounding noise conditions. Incoming radio traffic automatically takes priority, lowering music or call audio when needed. Always balanced. Always hands-free.

Hey friends this is Trevor, the new owner of PPG Smoke. I wanted to let you know that we are working hard to producing a few videos outlining these headsets in detail. Overall the new version is far improved and the little "issues" found with previous models have been resolved. The hardware and software is rock solid, and they're incredible headsets. The sound quality is the best I've found among all options out there, and you have the ability to answer calls, listen to music, and connect a radio all at the same time. Typically you can't get all those things in one. Plus the new ANC (active noise cancelation) works beautifully, helping flush out the noise of the engine. More details on these coming soon.
