Key Features:
#1 - Easily See Your Phone - Anytime & Anywhere:
When flying a very helpful tools is to be able to monitor your cell phone. This can be either for flight radar to track other aircraft, or to watch your flight log for information on your altitude, ground speed, time, or way points. Regardless of what you need it for, being able to monitor your cell phone in a comfortable, easy, and simple way is amazing. This leg dashboard offers you this ability, but without having to haul around a massive lap mounted dashboard, or without having to constantly pull your phone out and risk dropping it. Simply place your phone on or in the flight deck, and check your phone when you need. Our team has found this to be very helpful when flying in areas with lots of air traffic so we can monitor flight radar for other traiffc. This is also super helpful when flying in mountain terrain to keep tabs on ground speed so you know which direction the wind is blowing. This helps you avoid rotor and stay on the windward side of the ridge.
#2 - Comfortable While Launching & Landing:
Comfort while running was important, because after all we have to run to launch and run to land (except butt landings)! These are built with adjustable elastic leg straps that can be tightened down to snug without strain on your legs. These are also built with an adjustable non-elastic strap that attaches to your belt loop on your pants, so it doesn't slide down mid sprint. The backside (leg side) is built with a non-slip fabric that helps grip onto your pant and reduce the movement or sliding while moving. You won't notice it on launch or on landing, even when you're cell phone is inside.
#3 - Doesn't Interfer With The Harness Straps:
These are designed to sit comfortably on your legs, without getting in the way of your leg straps. They're slim, light, and just the right size. They have some ridgidety, but not so much that their is any pressure or pain points.
#5 - Dual Leg Straps:
Dual straps for additional stability when using, attaching, or removing your cell phone. Dual straps means less movement and more "locked in" on your leg. Also helps keep it in place better while on launch and on landing.
#6 - Fully Adjustable:
The Leg Flight Deck has fully adjustable elastic leg straps, that make it easy to tighten or loosen for any sized leg. The pant loop strap is also a non-elastic adjustable strap, so you can move it up or down on your leg as you'd like. The adjustments make it easy to configure as you'd prefer for your flying style.

Velcro or PVC:
Both options are great - here's the big differences. The velcro version is the better route to go for people who would like to remove and use their phone in flight. This is usually for people looking to take pictures or film videos while flying. The PVC is a great route for pilots who do not need to remove their phone in flight. It doesn't require a lanyard as it is very difficult to get your phone in or out while it's attached to your leg. In short, velcro is preferred if you need to retrieve your phone in flight, pvc is great if not.

Unfortunately, I haven’t taken any pictures of it yet, but I tried this out at moonshiners and I absolutely loved. I came home and immediately ordered one. I do a lot of cross-country Flying and this is perfect for not having to take my phone out of my chest pouch to look at it I can just look right down at my leg and see my phone. at all times. Highly recommended.

Finally got to use the Leg Flight Deck by ppgsmoke. If you're doing XC or constantly wanting to know what your altitude, speed, wind speed/Direction or the Direction you are heading you definitely can't go wrong with this setup! I did the Tri-State flight while out of Moonshiners a few weeks ago and I will definitely say that the Leg Flight Deck made it a lot easier on finding my way points. Phone stays strapped to your leg no constantly fumbling around with it in your lap just a simple glance down at your leg and you immediately know your direction, speed Etc! It was definitely a bumpy flight pretty much the whole way there and back. At one point I was coming up to a ridge at 833 ft and the next thing I know I was on the elevator ride going up! With a quick glance at my leg I Went from 833 Ft to 1100ft a lot faster than I cared to! This is definitely something that I wish I had a long time ago and we'll definitely be using it a lot more especially on any distance flight. Highly recommend!

Works great! Quick look down and all your app data is visible. Fits a little tight with a bigger phone and cases. Plastic is high quality and touch screen works.
Finally, I've found the flight deck I've been looking for. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, and it's well built. Keeping the phone on my lap had always been a struggle — this solves it. The deck stays secured during launch and landing with the phone inside, then keeps the phone visible and secured on deck via velcro. It detaches easily when I want to grab a photo. I use a separate phone case (with attached velcro) with a lanyard tab just for flying, and swap cases before and after each flight.
This is the flight deck i’ve been looking for. I’ve tried a couple other solutions, including other leg decks and chest packs, but they don’t work nearly as as well as this. Very convenient, quality materials, and I love being able to have Gaggle easily visible on my thigh at all times, but quick and easy access to the phone if I want to take a picture.

practical piece of equipment that was well thought out. the only additional thing would be a cover for the Velcro when not in use. keep the lint and other materials from sticking to it.

Great quality. It worked great in flight. I do however wish the belt loop lanyard could be switched to either end. I use a high strength retractable lanyard attached to my phone and it would have been nice slip the phone inside the pouch for take off/landings without the retractable lanyard tugging on the phone . With the phone resting on the outside with the Velcro it was usable and nicely secured. Almost too secure. I’ll likely reduce how much Velcro I put on my phone case to make it slightly easier to remove in flight. Other than that I loved it.

This flight deck is so awesome. It puts your phone in an accessible and visible location. Your flight apps are so much better when you can easily see your altitude, wind direction etc. Great job team.
I've been waiting for something like this to become available. I have been using a similar kind of closed plastic pouch dangling from a cord around my chest strap. Having your unit securely fixed to my leg is great. Perfect postion for easy reading and typing while in flight. Couldn't be happier with it.

Just used my Leg flight deck for the first time yesterday. Worked flawlessly and was exactly what I was hoping for. Moved from a front mount reserve to a side mount and lost my ability to see my phone during flight. Seeing Gaggle once again is a great resource during flight. Definitely recommend.
Excellent leg strap. I know many have been made over the years. This design excels by far. I would recommend a sleeve or something over the leg strap “S” carabiner though because my lines slip into it if you aren’t cautious.

I just got my phone holder thing for my leg, and I absolutely love it. I don't have to keep pulling my phone out of my bag and looking at it. I can just look down and navigate between apps much easier. Good job, Trevor.
