The oil that we have found to work great is either mineral oil or baby oil. Both types of oil burn a thick white smoke cloud. You do not need to purchase dedicated "smoke oil" to have thick smoke.

I bought mine well over a year ago. I’ve had zero issues with the smoke system. Battery basically lasts forever I think I’ve charged it 4 times in a year. Originally was the rivnut (tig welded) but then I upgraded the elbow to the my 25 and love it even more with the adapter. Only issue I’ve had is not keeping enough baby oil on hand. Cold weather tip mix 1/2 cup of diesel in if it’s below 32°. Keeps oil thin and still makes great smoke.

Hooked up in short order and works great. I use it in the pattern when it is crowded as it really highlights my plane to the other aircraft. Bought all the baby oil in stock at the local Dollar Store to the amazement of the clerk who asked how many babies I had
Installation was a breeze given the right tools. Rotax 503 produces a tremendous amount of smoke even when dialed down to lowest setting. Couldn’t be happier with this product and so far it’s everything as promised.
This worked amazing and was alot of fun. The built in battery is a nice touch with USB C charging, flow control is easy to use, installing was straight forward other then figuring out the location of where to install injector with having a egt sensor already in place. So far would recommend is a great unit and fun.
Great lil smoke machine. The straps though, I don't know if I trust em to stay on my frame so I added some zip ties. I'd like to see some instruction manuals for the installation and a little bit of visibility on the smoke pump dial.. An installation video is crucial for this!

Smoke system is great but the mounting straps have issues, the buckles dont hold. 2 of the 3 came completely undone first flight so make sure have secondary restraints or mod the strap so it cant come undone. Other than that the system itself is awesome so far.

Install was a breeze. Its never fun drilling into an exhaust, especially a fancy chrome one but now that it's done I'm not giving it much more thought. Very important to collect those shavings! Don't let them get sucked into your engine during that scavenging phase!

The first unit that I received would quit working after about 1 to 2 seconds. PPG Smoke is sending me a new unit free of charge. Nice warranty. Thanks guys

I was asked to blow smoke for an airshow at Nellis Air Force Base - The choice was easy! Nothing else dumps this much smoke, install is easy - plug and play with the MY25 (no drilling), and the product holds up great!
