Our top recommendation for an action camera is the DJI Osmo Action 6. Our top recommendation for a 360 camera is an Insta360 X5. We generally recommend using an action camera over a 360 camera because of the risk of damaging the lense. If you're launching from grass, turff, or other soft surface similar to those, a 360 camera is a great option.
